David J. King

David King is a trial lawyer. Mr. King was born in Omaha, Nebraska. He attended the University of South Dakota, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1987, and his Juris Doctorate degree in 1990. He was admitted to the practice of law in South Dakota in 1990. He is also admitted to the practice of law in Iowa. He was honored to serve as a Law Clerk to Chief Justice Robert A. Miller, South Dakota Supreme Court.

David King represents consumers, victims of negligence and workers who were injured on the job. David enjoys trying cases throughout South Dakota and Iowa where he has earned a reputation as a tenacious litigator. In addition to considerable trial experience, Mr. King also has experience in arbitrating, mediating and negotiating disputes to resolution. He has recovered millions of dollars for his clients. Mr. King takes great pride in the referral relationships he has developed with other lawyers throughout the state and in the number of lawyers and law firms that have asked David to represent their interests. Mr. King is a graduate of the South Dakota Trial Academy. He is an active member of the community and in statewide organizations.

When not practicing law, David likes to spend time with his family. David and his wife live in Sioux Falls with their three children. He enjoys snow skiing, reading, boating, traveling and hunting pheasants.
